Registration
For the 2012 IAHSRA season, all players must pay their USA Rugby Insurance fees through the following PayPal form. At a minimum, your USA Rugby Insurance must be paid before you start practice.
League fees may be paid and customized jerseys ordered through this form as well. If your team is one that will be participating in a league sponsored fundraiser to cover the costs of league fees, customized jerseys, or recoup insurance costs, your coach will coordinate these efforts and orders.
The Des Moines Rugby Foundation has a limited number of player scholarships available for those experiencing financial hardships. Please see your coach for more information or to apply for such scholarships.
Explanation of fees:
$30 – Annual IHSRA Registration Fee. This fee covers the cost of liability and medical insurance provided through USA Rugby and team registration costs. This cost has increased for the 2012 season relative to the 2011 season due to the increase in insurance premiums charged by USA Rugby.
$60 – League Registration Fee. This fee is charged on a per-League basis and covers referee, facility, and administrative support costs. This fee will typically be offset through team-by-team fundraising.
$50 – Personalized Jersey Cost. Personalized jerseys can be purchased individually. Some teams will engage in fundraising to purchase a complete, personalized game set of jerseys as well.
