Board of Directors
The Iowa High School Rugby Association (IHSRA) is committed to the sustainable growth of youth rugby in Iowa. This growth will be fueled by the creation and management of programs and competitions accommodating athletes of all ages, competitive interests, and natural abilities. The Board of Directors is responsible for overseeing and facilitating these IHSRA activities.
The number of openings on the Board is equal to the number of teams registered within the IHSRA plus the number of Iowa counties that contain IHSRA teams or programs. Each Director is appointed by the Chairman either as an advocate for a specific team or as an At-Large representative for a term of three (3) years in length. Every attempt will be made to ensure Directors are not concurrently members of the IHSRA Board of Directors and Coaches Association.
The IHSRA is always eager to consider Director candidates whose demonstrated record of achievement indicates that he or she will be able to lead the organization along a path towards sustainability.
